About Us

The Rainbow Nest is an alternative education provision in the UK designed specifically for children aged 4 to 11 with Autism and Sensory Processing needs. Founded by a qualified teacher with over 13 years of experience, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children who find mainstream school overwhelming.

Our program is thoughtfully crafted to address the unique needs of each child. We focus on improving expressive and receptive language skills, fostering social interaction, and developing crucial self-regulation techniques. Our curriculum incorporates a variety of engaging and therapeutic activities, including sensory play, mindfulness exercises, and a structured learning approach tailored to support children with Autism.

We operate for up to 15 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday, between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. The Rainbow Nest works in close collaboration with schools and parents to secure placements and also offers private funding options. We are dedicated to creating a positive and empowering space where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
