The Rainbow Nest offers a nurturing haven and safe space for children with neurological differences. Led by a qualified teacher with over 13 years of experience, we provide a personalised, holistic curriculum that focuses on social communication, sensory integration, and vital functional and academic skills.
Through engaging, multi-sensory activities and a therapeutic approach, we empower children to express themselves, build friendships, and navigate their feelings, equipping them for adulthood.

About Us
The Rainbow Nest is an Alternative Provision for children with Autism and Sensory Processing needs from age 4 to 11.
Sometimes the demands of a mainstream classroom and school environment, can be overwhelming for children with autism.
That’s where The Rainbow Nest can help for up to a maximum of 15 hours per week.
Admissions
The majority of our learners have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), which underpins their personalised curriculum.
We work closely with families, schools, and Local Authorities to ensure suitable placements.
While places are typically funded by schools or the Local Authority via the EHCP, self-funded options are also available.
Holiday Clubs
Finding a holiday club that truly understands and meets your child’s needs can be a challenge. Our clubs provide a safe, stimulating environment designed specifically for children with neurological differences, such as Autism, when typical clubs just aren’t the right fit.
We know how overwhelming school holidays can be for working parents and families. Our clubs are here to help, providing a supportive space so you can have peace of mind knowing your child is in a secure, engaging environment.
While many alternative provisions offer activity-based mentoring, The Rainbow Nest is unique for its exclusive focus on primary-aged autistic learners, with every session designed and overseen by a Qualified Teacher (QTS).
